Copper Catalyzed, Enantioselective Hydrofunctionalization of Alkenes
Abstract
This chapter covers recent advances in copper-catalyzed, enantioselective hydrofunctionalizations of alkenes, including hydroalkylations, hydroarylations, hydroacylations, hydroaminations, and hydrosilylations. Also included are sequential hydrofunctionalization reactions. General mechanisms of the copper-catalyzed hydrofunctionalization reactions are discussed briefly, including rationales behind the observed regio-, chemo-, and stereoselectivities.
